The Step-by-Step Process

Getting clinical-grade blood testing doesn't have to be complicated. Here is exactly what the experience is like from start to finish.

1

Choose your draw method

Decide if you will find a clinic, a testing site, or a mobile phlebotomist nearby your home to draw the micro-sample of blood, or if you want to use the device to draw your own sample.

  • There are usually various places you can get the blood draw done, but that can vary by where you are located. This option assures that everything is done correctly the first time without needing to figure anything out. It may enable even more biomarkers.
  • The self-draw device is painless, needleless, and works well, especially if you cannot find any place for the blood draw nearby.
2

Order for yourself or as a couple

Decide if you want to get testing for another person, such as a spouse, at the same time or just get one test. Buying two together saves on shipping for the kit. Regardless, each person will have their own totally separate and private account.

3

Purchase and complete your profile

Click on the link to purchase the kit. You will be asked some basic health history questions to guide the doctor when they evaluate your results and provide you guidance in the future.

4

Prep the kit at home

When the GiganTest Logo kit arrives in the mail, follow the simple instructions included with it. This will include putting some blue ice packs in the freezer before your sample is drawn so they can keep it cool in the mail.

5

Get your micro-sample drawn

Make arrangements to get your blood micro-sample drawn. If you have this done by a phlebotomist like we did, they will follow the instructions provided for them and send the blood sample out the same day to HealthieOne's labs. The phlebotomist will charge a small fee for their services.

Review results & consult with staff

Within about a week you will receive an email telling you that your results are ready. Log in to review the summary from the medical staff, review the detailed results, and chat with the medical staff regarding any questions you have and thoughts about addressing any issues. Of course you should also share your results with your primary care physician for them to use as they guide your health decisions.

Upload your historical data

If you have copies of earlier testing you have had done, you can upload them to your private portal. The HealthieOne system will read these in and create a chart showing the change over time for the biomarkers you uploaded. I had many tests in various formats and the system read them all to show me a very helpful history.

8

Affordable retesting

In 3-6 months you can get retested on key biomarkers including any of concern from the first test. This usually includes over 170 biomarkers and only costs $200 for everything!
